Scuff Plate: Service and Repair

Sill Finisher

Remove

Scuff Plate

1. Remove nut and washer from underneath the front of scuff plate.
2. Using a drift tap through the center piece of the ten Rocut rivets.
3. Carefully pry out the Rocut rivets and remove the scuff plate.

Refit

1. Reverse the removal procedure, renewing the Rocut rivets and ensuring the metal tube insert is refitted into the scuff plate where the bolt goes

through.
