Rear Wheel Sensor - ABS

4. Remove the bolts securing the mudshield.
5. Using a suitable lever pry the sensor from its mounting bush.
6. Release the harness cable ties, remove the sensor lead from vehicle.

NOTE:  The two rear sensor leads are integral with the pad wear harness. In the case of sensor failure the complete harness must be changed.

7. Remove the sensor bush.

REFIT 

1. Fit the new sensor bush.
2. Lightly grease the new sensor using silicone grease. Push the sensor through the bush until it touches the exciter ring. The sensor will be knocked

back to its correct position when the vehicle is driven.

3. Ensure that the original routing is used for the sensor lead. Secure the lead in position.
4. Reconnect the sensor electrical connection.
5. Clear the error code. Drive the vehicle to ensure the ABS warning light is extinguished.
