Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair
Front

With ABS

REMOVE 

1. Remove the front hub assembly. Refer to Front Hub  See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Wheel Hub/Service and Repair

2. Remove the five hub to disc bolts.
3. Tap disc to separate from hub.

REFIT 

4. Locate the disc to hub.
5. Apply Loctite 270© to disc bolts. Tighten to 73 Nm 
6. Check total disc runout with a dial indicator, this must not exceed 0.15 mm. If necessary reposition the disc.
7. Fit hub assembly. Refer to Front Hub

Front brake vented disc reclamation 

Vented discs may be reduced to a total minimum thinkness of 22 mm. Material may be machined off each disc face, but equal thicknesses of disc
must remain each side of the vent.

Without ABS

REMOVE 

1. Remove the front hub assembly. Refer to Front Hub   See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Wheel Hub/Service and Repair

2. Remove the five hub to disc bolts.
3. Tap disc to separate from hub.
