ABS HOT FLUSH AND BLEED - UPDATE
The Hot Flush and Bleed procedure described in E-Mail 70-91/06 has proven very successful in resolving ABS pump noise complaints.
Please continue performing this service on all ABS vehicles which have not already been flushed during routine service visits (check the vehicle service
history first). It is important that the procedure is followed carefully to ensure success.
We are doing this on a one time per vehicle basis in the interest of customer satisfaction. Subsequently, brake fluid changes at the 18 month/15,000 mile
(24,000 Km) scheduled intervals is a maintenance cost.
