Air Suspension Pressure Switch Failure

SITUATION:

WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATES AND AIR SUSPENSION INOPERATIVE

A customer may complain of inoperative air suspension and/or that an air suspension warning light has illuminated.

RESOLUTION:

REPLACE PRESSURE SWITCH AS FIRST REPAIR EFFORT

Interrogation of the Air Suspension Electronic Control Unit (ECU) with TestBook/T4 may a fault code inlet solenoid valve stuck open". The code could
mean that the pressure switch is faulty. The code does not necessarily mean that the valve block must be replaced. The pressure switch may stick
intermittently and TestBook/T4 has not diagnosed the fault correctly.

After interrogation of the ECU with TestBook/T4 determines the fault code "inlet solenoid valve stuck open," replace the pressure switch as the first
effort to repair the vehicle.
