DETAIL
NOTE:
Please remove issue 1 60/07/94/US of this bulletin and replace with issue 2. The Pressure Switch Flow Chart had an error (replace pressure switch
appeared twice) and has now been corrected.
If during interrogation of the EAS ECU, fault message "PRESSURE SWITCH STUCK OFF" is recorded as a hard fault the possible causes of this
message can be as follows:
1) Pressure switch disconnected. 2) Pressure switch failed in open (low pressure) condition (compressor failure). 3) Electrical harness to the pressure
switch short circuit to body or chassis.
4) Electrical harness to pressure switch open circuit (either a cable or the 1k resistor between the Grey/red and Grey/green leads).
Identify the cause and repair or replace as necessary.
Note:
Harness repairs should only be carried out by qualified vehicle technician, otherwise damaged electrical harnesses should be replaced.
