RANGE ROVER LUG NUT CHANGES
Effective with VIN PA63584O, the Range Rover spare wheel specification was changed from cast alloy to steel. The lug nut specification was changed
at the same time to accommodate the new wheel.
The most obvious change to the lug nut is a stainless steel covering, however a taper was also added to the inboard end of the nut to property centralize
and secure the steel wheel. The older NRC7415 (Non-stainless) lug nut must not be used with a steel wheel since it does not have this taper, and will not
centralize the wheel around the lug stud. The newer stainless nut (ANR2763MMM) may be used with all Range Rover alloy or steel wheels, 1987
through 1994.
