An audible creak may be heard coming from any of the four door casings. The creak is caused by the door casing rubbing against the body of the door
frame.
ACTION REQUIRED
Upon customer complaint of a creak from any of the door casings, follow the procedure below.

PROCEDURE
Refer to the work shop manual section 76 Trim Casing Front Door and Trim Casing Rear Door, to remove the door casings.
1)
Identify the casing/casings that are causing the creak by pushing the door casing against the door. This action should stop the creak.
2)
Remove the effected door casing.
3)
Using a file remove any excess foam from the door casing where it is making contact with the door frame (see illustration).
4)
Refit the door casing and check the creak is no longer present.
