Install a new ABS sensor bush. Replace ABS sensor dust seal if damaged. Install in hub.
6.
Install disc shield strap and secure with bolts. Tighten to 8 Nm. (6 lbf. ft.).
7.
Install disc shield and secure with bolts. Tighten to 8 Nm. (6 lbf. ft.).
8.
Install brake disc, secure with screw. Tighten to 25 Nm. (18 lbf. ft.).
9.
Install brake caliper with new bolts. Tighten to 100 Nm. (74 lbf. ft.).
10.
Remove lower guide pin and rotate caliper upward.
11.
Install brake pads with chamfer towards the leading edge of disc (towards the rear of vehicle).
12.
Swivel caliper downwards into position.
13.
Install guide pin bolt. Tighten to 35 Nm. (26 lbf. ft.).
14.
Apply brake pedal several times to locate pads.
15.
Check axle fluid level, top up as necessary.
16.
Reinstall road wheels. Tighten to 108 Nm. (80 lbf. ft.).
17.
Road test vehicle and check for leaks.

Some 1995 and 1996 Range Rovers can leak axle oil through the front axle seals. New seals have been developed which offer improved sealing. Upon
inspection, if either of the front axle seals is leaking, replace both left and right seals with the new seals. From the above VIN the improved seals have
been fitted at the factory.
