1.

Remove the rear door latch attachment bolts. (Figure 1)

2.

Position the door latch to gain access to the child lock cam. (Figure 2)

3.

Using suitable needle-nosed pliers, remove the child lock cam. (Figure 2)

4.

Install the new child lock cam to the latch assembly.

5.

Position the door latch and tighten the attachment bolts to 10 Nm (7.5 lbf-ft). (Figure 1)

6.

Verify the rear door latch and child lock operates correctly.
