39. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
40. Remove the CKP sensor.

Remove the bolt.
NOTE: Install the special tool to the crankshaft sensor aperture.
41. Lock the crankshaft.

Install the special tool.
^
Install the bolt.
42. Remove the engine front cover.
^
Remove the 24 bolts.
^
Remove and discard the gasket.
^
Remove and discard the 3 0-ring seals.
