NOTE: If the crankshaft main bearing carrier retaining bolts have been marked with a center punch dot they must be discarded and new bolts
installed.
61. Remove the crankshaft main bearing carrier.

Remove the crankshaft main bearing carrier retaining bolts in the indicated sequence.
62. Discard the crankshaft rear main oil seal.
