Instruct the assistant to shut off the engine just as the final fluid is entering the reservoir.
12.
Check the level in the reservoir/funnel.
13.
If the level is too high (some fluid remaining in the funnel) start the engine momentarily (one or two seconds) until the fluid level falls into the
reservoir.
14.
Remove funnel and discard the filler cap 0-ring.
REPLACE STEERING RACK AND RESERVOIR
NOTE:
Take appropriate steps to ensure minimal fluid loss from the reservoir during this process.
1.
Siphon any remaining fluid from the reservoir and discard the removed fluid.
2.
Remove the temporary return hose extension assembly used during flushing.
NOTE:

Refer to Workshop Manual, GTR Section 211-02 and remove the old power steering fluid reservoir.
4.
Carefully clean any spillage from around the area.

Refer to Workshop Manual, GTR Section 211-02 and replace the steering gear.
6.
Refer to Workshop Manual, GTR Section 211-02 and install the new power steering fluid reservoir.
