Disassembly and Assembly

NOTE:  With the seat out of the vehicle and the backrest in the fold-flat position, the inboard latch foot must be in the latched position to pivot the
backrest back to the upright position.

1. Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Second Row  See: Service and Repair/Rear Seat/Seat - Second Row.

2. Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Second Row, Bucket  See: Seat Back/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Rear Seat/Seat Backrest - Second Row, Bucket.

3. Open the cushion cover.

1. Release the clip and separate the strut.

2. Separate the J-clips.

3. Separate the hook-and-loop strips.
