6. Under the driver seat, slide and disengage the side air bag module electrical connector locking clip, release the tab and disconnect the electrical

connector.

7. Remove the LH D-pillar trim panel.

Remove the LH third row safety belt retractor D-ring cover and bolt.

Detach LH D-pillar trim panel.

8. NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

Disconnect the LH Safety Canopy(R) module electrical connector.

9. Remove the RH D-pillar trim panel.

Remove the RH third row safety belt retractor D-ring cover and bolt.

-

Detach the RH D-pillar trim panel.

10. Disconnect the RH Safety Canopy(R) module electrical connector.

11. Install RCM fuse 32 (10A) to the SJB.

12. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.

 
Reactivation

1. Remove RCM fuse 32 (10A) from the SJB.

2. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute.

3. NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

Connect the LH Safety Canopy(R) module electrical connector.
