Seat Position Sensor

NOTE:  The air bag warning indicator illuminates when the correct Restraints Control Module (RCM) fuse is removed and the ignition is ON.

NOTE:  The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) must be fully operational and free of faults before releasing the vehicle to the customer.

1. Remove the driver seat. For additional information, refer to the Removal and Installation portion of Seats.

2. Remove the seat position sensor.

Release the lock tab and remove the seat position sensor from the seat bracket slots.

Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the seat position sensor.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
