Shift Cable: Adjustments
Selector Lever Cable Adjustment
6-speed transaxle
1. Vehicles equipped with a 3.5L engine, remove the air cleaner assembly. For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.
2. Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the manual control lever.
3. Place the manual control lever in DRIVE.

Place the manual control lever in PARK.

Move the manual control lever counterclockwise 3 detents to the DRIVE position.
FNR5 transaxle
4. Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the manual control lever.
5. NOTE: Transaxle shown removed for clarity.
Place the manual control lever in NEUTRAL.

Place the manual control lever in PARK.

Move the manual control lever clockwise 3 detents to the DRIVE position.
