Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair
Dual Converter Y-Pipe
Removal and Installation
All vehicles
1. Prepare the vehicle for dual converter Y-Pipe removal.
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the muffler and tail pipe assembly.
2. Disconnect the two heated oxygen sensor (H02S) electrical connectors.
3. Disconnect the two catalyst monitor sensor electrical connectors.
4. Remove the nuts.
