Power Mirror Switch: Testing and Inspection
Specific Switch Test
Measure the resistance between the following terminals while pressing each requested switch:

Memory switch no.1
6 and 4
Memory switch no.2
6 and 3
Memory set switch
6 and 1
The resistance should be less than 5 ohms for each switch position.
If the resistance is less than 5 ohms for each switch, return to the calling pinpoint test; otherwise, INSTALL a new switch.
Memory Set Switch LED Circuit
NOTE: Refer to Multimeter Users Manual for testing diodes.
Check the diode in the Light Emitting Diode (LED) circuit for continuity.

With the positive lead connected the Terminal 8 and the negative lead connected to Terminal 9, the meter should read greater than 0.3 volts. Reversing
the leads, the meter should read OL. If not, INSTALL a new switch.
