6. Position the seat back trim cover back flap up.

7. Route the seat backrest TED wire harness back through the seat cushion and trim cover.

8. Remove the seat backrest TED.

Remove the seat backrest TED wire harness pin-type retainers.

Cut the zip-ties and separate the ducts from the seat backrest TED.

Cut the zip-tie and remove the seat backrest TED.

INSTALLATION

1. Restore the vehicle to operating condition.

Install the affected seat.

Reactivate the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).

CAUTIONS, NOTES AND INSTRUCTIONS IN THE SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
DEACTIVATION/REACTIVATION PROCEDURE.

With all the restraint system diagnostic tools removed, prove out the supplemental restraint system (SRS).

WARNING:  THE RESTRAINT SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC TOOL IS FOR RESTRAINT SYSTEM SERVICE ONLY. REMOVE
FROM THE VEHICLE PRIOR TO ROAD USE. FAILURE TO REMOVE COULD RESULT IN INJURY AND POSSIBLE
VIOLATION OF VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS.
