Removal
All vehicles
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Remove the air cleaner housing.
4. Remove the generator.
5. Remove the upper cooling fan shroud.
6. If removing the RH engine support insulator, remove the starter.
7. If removing the LH engine support insulator, remove the oil level indicator and tube.
