13. Separate the multi-function switch from the clockspring.

Remove the screw.

Release the tab.

While releasing the retaining tab, slide the multi-function switch up and out of the way.
14. Separate the clockspring from the steering column.

Remove the screws.

Slide the clockspring off the steering column shaft.
15. Remove the clockspring.

Disconnect the clockspring electrical connectors.

Remove the clockspring.
16. Inspect the clockspring bracket for damage and remove as necessary.
