2. NOTE: The retaining ring is used to hold the center shaft in the ring gear.
Install the wavy retaining ring.
3. NOTE: Make sure the bearing outer lip faces the rear face of the overdrive planet assembly.
Install the No. 4 overdrive planet thrust bearing assembly.
4. CAUTION: The input shaft and overdrive planet assembly are serviced as mating components.
NOTE: Different vehicle applications will have different planet assemblies. Refer to the Master Parts Catalog for correct usage.
Install the overdrive planet assembly.
