10. Remove the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the bolt.

Remove the VSS.
11. NOTE: As the fasteners are removed, note the size of each for proper location during installation.
Remove the eight transmission extension housing.

Remove the bolts.
2
Remove the transmission extension housing.
12. Remove and discard the extension housing gasket.
