Removal
1. WARNING: The electrical power to the air suspension system must be shut off prior to hoisting, jacking or towing an air suspension
vehicle. This can be accomplished by turning of the air suspension switch located in the LH side of the luggage compartment. Failure to
do so can result in unexpected inflation or deflation of the air springs, which can result in shifting of the vehicle during these operations.
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the differential housing cover.

Remove the differential housing cover bolts and drain the lubricant from the differential housing.

Remove the differential housing cover if equipped.
Installation
1. CAUTION: The machined surfaces on the differential housing and the differential housing cover must be clean and free of oil before applying
the silicone sealant. Cover the inside of the rear axle prior to cleaning the machined surface to prevent contamination.
