Wheel Speed Sensor - Rear

Removal and Installation 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Remove the rear seat bolster. For additional information, refer to Seats.
3. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
4. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
5. Using a suitable tool, disconnect the grommet from the body.

6. NOTE:  It is not necessary to remove the harness routing brackets.

Disconnect the wheel speed sensor harness from the brackets.

7. Remove the wheel speed sensor wire bolt and the wheel speed sensor.

To install, tighten to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.). 

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
