Air Door Vacuum Solenoid Valve: Service and Repair

Removing

Remove ashtray with housing.

Remove radio.

Disconnect 2-pole connector and vacuum hoses from switch-over valve (Y13).

Unscrew switch-over valve (Y13) from holder.

Installing

Install in the reverse sequence but do not confuse the vacuum hoses (refer to vacuum function diagram General Description, section K).

Run engine at idle speed and check function of fresh air/recirculated air flap and switch-over valve (Y13).
