To preheat the fuel, a fuel heat exchanger is installed in fuel supply line. With full preheating up to 50°F (8°C), the fuel is guided through the fuel heat
exchanger, Fig. 1. The system also has a mixed operation from 50-80°F (8-25°C), where a varied amount of fuel is sent to the exchanger. Above 80°F
(25°C) the fuel heat exchanger is bypassed by a thermostat and no more fuel will follow through the fuel heat exchanger, Fig. 2.
