Mercedes Benz 300 Series workshop manuals
Mercedes-Benz 300 Series at a glance: 24 manuals, covering 1982 to 1993 models, with engines from 2.5 to 3.8 litres.
About the 300 Series
Before Mercedes-Benz moved the letters in front of the numbers in 1993 (E 320 instead of 320E), models were named after their engine size followed by letters, such as E for a fuel-injected engine (Einspritzmotor). These manuals cover the 3-litre (and similar) models of several ranges.
What these manuals cover
- W123 (1982–1984): the 300D, 300CD and 300TD with the 3.0 five-cylinder turbo diesel.
- W126 S-Class (1982–1990): the 300SD, 300SDL, 350SDL, 300SE and 300SEL, and the 380SEC V8.
- W124 (1986–1993): the 300E, 300CE and 300TE (including 4MATIC) with 2.6, 3.0 and 3.2-litre sixes, and the 300D diesel.
- Other: the 380SL (R107), the 300SL (R129), and the 300SE and 300SD of the 1992–1993 W140.
Tip: the first number in brackets is the model code, whose first three digits give the chassis (124.030 is a W124), and the second is the engine code (103.983 is an M103 six).
