Front Door Handles and Locks - Modified

FRONT DOOR HANDLES AND LOCKS -
SERIES 123

Since the end of August 1981 the front door handle and lock assemblies have been modified for increased theft protection.

The actuating rod on the door handle assembly now includes a special tip (item 1) that engages into the lock assembly to prevent unauthorized door
handle removal without a key. For R & R of the handle, the key must be turned rearward through approximately 50~ as shown (same as 126).

The new door handles will only fit the new locks. However, the old handles will fit into the new locks but, R & R of the handles will be possible without
a key.
