Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair
Removal and installation of holder with motor and gear
A. If teleflex cable can be removed
Removal
1 Remove sun roof lid headliner.
2 Unscrew connecting plate on front roof frame and press off connecting clamp on cable.
3 Run teleflex cable forward until it is no longer inserted in gears of sun roof motor.
4 Remove cover in trunk on left hand side.
5 Disconnect electric wires at sun roof motor.
