A/C Compressor Spring Plate Assembly Tool Installed

6. Place spacer on spring plate. Insert assembling tool through spacer and screw assembling tool to shaft end.
7. Secure hex. head of tool and screw-in the central screw until there is a play of approx. 0.5-1 mm between the friction areas of the spring plate and

the clutch.

8. Take out assembling tool and spacer.

13 = Shaft seal
14 = Drive shaft
20 = Housing cove

9. Install new nut on shaft (smaller diameter of nut toward shoulder of shaft) and tighten to 13 Nm. Check play once again.
