Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

In-Car Temperature Sensor

PURPOSE

The in-car temperature sensor feels the in-car temperature and transmits that temperature to the electronic switching unit to balance the
temperature as set.

OPERATION

The in-car temperature sensor feels the in-car air temperature. The air jet supplies constant air flow past sensor by means of tubing connected to
blower housing shortening response period when the blower fan is operating. The temperature sensor sends a resistance signal to the switching unit
for temperature control.
