Valve Unit, Replace

126 Series

1.

Remove retaining ring, then disconnect adjusting switch control cable and pull control disk up to stop toward the rear to move valve unit adjusting
to ``M'' position, releasing pressure from central reservoir.

2.

Loosen adjusting switch puller clamp on holder while retaining holder with a suitable tool.

3.

Disconnect pressure lines from valve unit while applying suitable counterhold to avoid damaging oil supply tank.

4.

Remove valve unit attaching nuts and the valve unit.

5.

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

a. Use new seal between pressure regulator and oil supply tank.
b. Torque valve unit attaching nuts to 2 ft. lbs., M10 line fitting to 8 ft. lbs., M14 line fitting to 22 ft. lbs. and adjusting switch-to-pressure

regulator attaching bolts to 5 ft. lbs.

c. After attaching puller to adjusting switch control disc, move switch into ``N'' position.
d. Pressurize central reservoir by running engine at approximately 2500 RPM for 30 seconds.
