Model 129

Removal/Reinstallation of New Generation (two-Piece) Radio

As of September 1990 production, new generation radios (two-piece) have been installed in model 129. The two-piece radios have retaining springs on
the left and right side of the chassis which must be unlocked, using special Removal Keys, before the radio can be removed.

Procedure

1.

Insert Removal Keys into slots until keys click into place (lettering on Keys must face up; LINKS into left side, RECHTS into right side) (Fig. 1).

2.

Pull radio unit from console using key loops.

3.

Disconnect electrical connections and antenna cable from radio.

4.

Reinstall radio in reverse sequence.

Note:

Remove Keys from radio prior to reinstallation.
