As of January 1991 the outside rear view mirror housings are painted in the vehicle exterior color.

Repair note:

Paint repair with MB-KS base coat, part no. 002 986 04 37 and MB-KS-2K clear top coat, gloss, elastic, part no.001 986 81 37 (refer to Refinishing
Manual, section 1.20).
