Auxiliary Water Pump: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Drain radiator coolant.

Recirculating (Auxiliary) Pump Installed

2. Loosen hose clamps (53) and pull off hoses.
3. Remove electric plug connection (60) from holder and disconnect.
4. Unscrew recirculating pump (30) from holder (59).

NOTE: If necessary to remove holder for recirculating pump, remove 2 M6 X 10 bolts from below. 

Installation

1. Clip recirculating pump (30) into holder (59).
2. Plug electric plug connection (60) back together and push into holder.
3. Install both hoses and tighten clamps.
4. Refill radiator with coolant and check cooling system for leaks.
5. Check recirculating pump and automatic climate control for function by pushing defrost button of control panel.
