Place the separate outer link-plate in the pressing tool (figure 2, arrow). The link-plate is held magnetically.

Place pressing tool onto master link.

4.

Line up the link-plate with pins of chain link and press fully home with the pressing tool. Hold tool steady by upright arm (figure 3).

5.

Slip the locking clip onto the grooved pins with the closed end facing towards the direction of rotation. (figure 4, arrow)
