Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

In-Car Temperature Sensor
Removal

1. Disconnect battery.
2. Remove glove box.
3. Pull off air hose.
4. Pull off electric plug (2 pin).

In-Car Temperature Sensor

5. Pull off temperature sensor lower half in downward direction, while raising holders slightly.
6. Pull in-car temperature sensor (7) out of instrument panel in upward direction.

Installation

1. Insert in car temperature sensor (7) from above into instrument panel and fasten to lower half.
2. Plug on 2 pin plug. Slip air hose on in-car temperature sensor lower half making sure not to kink hose.
3. Connect battery.
4. Check function of ACC. SEE Manual (Visual) Function Tests. See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General
