Air Filter Element: Testing and Inspection

Disconnect all hoses attached to air cleaner cover and remove.  Check the filter element for dirt and damage.  If air filter element is in good shape,
proceed to step 2.  If it is not, clean or replace filter and proceed to step 2.

Check the intake duct for restrictions and damage.  If the intake system is ok, the test is over.  If there are problems with the intake system, repair
as necessary.
