Refrigerant Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Receiver Drier With Temperature And Pressure Switch
1. Switch-on ignition and connect the two electric flat plugs of temperature switch (14) with each other (short). If auxiliary fan does not switching on,
the fault is outside temperature switch.
2. Insert electric plug on temperature switch and immerse temperature switch in water in accordance with cut-in temperature 55°C (131°F). If
temperature switch is defective, the auxiliary fan will not switch on.
3. Let water cool down by maximum of 12°C (54°F). Auxiliary fan should switch off.
4. Switch OFF ignition.
