1.

Remove ignition switch bezel by bending retainer tabs slightly open.

2.

VERSION 1 (Plug-on cap)
a. Remove ignition key.
b. Pull off cap using a bent 1 mm wire.
c. Insert ignition key and turn ignition switch to position "1".
d. Push cylinder detent (to the right of top center) and remove lock cylinder.

3.

VERSION 2/3 (Screw-on cap)
a. Turn ignition switch to position "1".

Release Wire

b. Insert release wire through bore in lock cylinder.  Push release wire to release detent.
c. With detent unlocked, unscrew lock cylinder cap.

Lock And Cap

d. Remove lock cylinder (with cap attached) from steering lock assembly.  Remove release wire, turn key to position "0", and remove ignition

key.

e. Remove lock cylinder from cap.

INSTALLATION

1.

VERSION 1 (Plug-on cap)
a. Turn lock cylinder to position "1" and insert into steering lock assembly.
b. Turn to position "0" and remove ignition key.
c. Re-install lock cylinder cap and check lock operation.

VERSION 2/3 (Screw-on cap)
