MODIFIED FRONT BRAKE DISCS MODEL 126

Modified brake discs are installed in production as of September 1989. The part number was changed.

In case of repairs only identical brake discs should be installed (same part number for left and right side).

When replacing a single brake disc for any reason, the part number of the removed brake disc must be checked. If the number is 126 421 04 12, both
discs must be replaced with part 126 421 05 12.

Warning!  Assume all brake dust contains asbestos and conduct brake repairs accordingly.  Make certain that OSHA recommended control methods are
utilized to minimize asbestos exposure to dealer personnel.  (Refer to Standard Equipment Program Catalog for approved equipment). DO NOT Use
compressed air blowing or dry brushing to clean brakes without a vacuum enclosure equipped with a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter. 
Dispose of waste materials in acoordance with local, state and federal regulations.
