Coolant pump drainage pipe, install (02-2029) (when replacing coolant pump)

Models 124, 126, 129 and 201 W/ Engines 103/104

MODELS 124,126, 129 AND 201 WITH ENGINES 103/104

1.

Remove fan shroud and fan with viscous clutch (SMS, Repair Instructions, Job no. 20-3120).

2.

Loosen coolant pump pulley and fan pulley, and remove after performing step 3.

3.

Remove poly-V-belt (SMS, Repair Instructions, Job no. 13-3420).

4.

Remove belt tensioner shock absorber.

5.

Remove vibration damper and pulley (SMS, Repair Instructions, Job no. 03-3420).

6.

Apply sealant/locker to fitting (arrow, Figure 7) and tap it into the lower vent bore of the coolant pump with a suitable mandrel.
