Remove end cover.

A threaded hole M 8 is provided on each side to facilitate removal of a tightly seated end cover (arrows).

Installing:

Carefully clean sealing surfaces at crankcase and at closing cover.

Apply an even coat of sealant to sealing surface of closing cover, ensuring that no sealant gets into the oil circuit.

Fill radial seal with engine oil between dust and sealing lips.

Push closing cover with radial seal over the screwed-in insertion tool and screw on.

NOTE:  Pay attention to different bolt lengths.
