Mark reworked cylinder head with the letter "C" (Figures 2 and 3).

Note:

In case of later repair, the modified valve cover gaskets can be installed in cylinder heads marked with the letter "C" without performing the
rework described above again.

Note:

It is also not necessary to rework the cylinder head in cases of repair, if the modified gasket was originally installed at the factory. These
gaskets can be recognized by their part numbers (arrows, Figure 2 and 3).

Important! 

Do not exceed a tightening torque of 3 Nm when tightening the valve cover screws.
