Water Pump: Service and Repair
Retrofitting Drainage Line

Commercially available tool

Parts:  The drainage line is supplied as a parts kit, Part No. 117 200 00 52

1. Detach, attach fan cowl. Remove viscous fan clutch and fan together with fan cowl, install. Tightening torque of collar bolts 25 Nm.
2. Remove V-belts for power steering pump, alternator, AC compressor and air pump, install.
3. Remove crankshaft belt pulley, install. Tightening torque of hexagon bolts 35 Nm.

Rivet sleeve (arrow) into bottom vent hole at coolant pump housing.

Attach bracket (item 1) with M 8 x 20 and M 8 nut (item 2) to the tank of the drainage line (item 3)
