When replacing a cross spring (ATE) or pad retaining spring (Bendix, Girling) on fixed brake calipers, make sure that the correct spring is
installed. Refer to the table on page 6. This table also applies to model 126.043 (rear brakes only).

Installation of Brake Calipers

When fastening the brake caliper to the steering knuckle or wheel support, the following should be observed:

The Self-locking bolts must only be used once.

In case of repairs on models 107, 114, 115, and 116, always install the brake calipers with the locking plate, even if self-locking bolts are used. If
