Whenever the subject reveal mouldings are replaced, the entire lower section of the new moulding must be glued in place using MB-PVC adhesive (see
Figure 1 and 2).
The PVC adhesive has also been used in production as of January 1983. Double faced tape was used as an interim solution and is no longer acceptable.

Work Procedure

1.

Coat both the frame and moulding with MB-PVC adhesive (Part No. 001 989 30 71) and let dry until tacky.

2.

Carefully fit the moulding in place from the center outward on the first try. Adjustments after the surfaces have touched will be very difficult.
