MIXING OF WINDSHIELD WASHER SOLUTIONS WITH M-B CONCENTRATE "S"

Note:

This S.I. contains updated parts and mixing information.

Use of Windshield Washer Fluids

DBAG confirms that mixing M-B windshield washer concentrate "S" with domestically (USA) produced pre-mixed windshield washer solvent (the blue
washer concentrate in 1 gallon container) will provide good cleaning, minimize windshield smearing and provide protection against freezing.

Note:

Disregard mixing instructions on presently available 40 ml bottle concerning Concentrate W. Follow mixing instructions in above table. Bottles
with updated labels will be available shortly.

Important Maintenance and Use Instructions

-

the washer jets must be cleaned and properly adjusted (see group 82 of Maintenance Manual).

-

the wiper blade(s) must be in good condition and should be replaced twice a year (preferably just before and after winter).

-

advise customer to activate the washer system as often as necessary when smearing occurs, even during rain.

-

the windshield surface should be cleaned periodically with a name-brand commercial glass cleaner.
